Maplets – The Offline Maps App App Reviews

A bit clumsy to use and continuously crashes when you try to delete a map and then reloads the just deleted map when you reopen the app, very frustrating

Simple straightforward app. I love having offline access to all my maps in one place, as well as a go-to place to find more maps on the net. Most of the maps that Ive downloaded have been top quality. The Reykjavik city maps are of marginal quality, but useful nonetheless. All things considered, this is a superior app.

Pretty decent coverage of the Vancouver, Canada region. Very happy with this purchase. One wish...please provide information about how to contribute and to append GPS data to maps.

I use it every time I travel!

Indispensable in getting around San Francisco, I use these maps offline as opposed to using Google Maps. Favs are the - San Francisco Bike Map - San Francisco Zoo Map - Golden Gate Park Map - MUNI Bus System Map - Barcelona Spain maps

Still learning but pleased with the program so far. Headed off for two weeks of hiking and download almost my entire trip. Great detail.

I used this map at Rausch Creek and it was a huge help, especially being my first time. With trips planned to Anthracite Adventures and back to Rausch Creek, I know this will come in handy.

I have found Maplet to be very useful. I use it for my day hikes mostly to help me get around. Customer service is amazing as twice I found that they did not have the park maps I needed and they unloaded them within a few weeks after being notified.

Fantastic! Great for hiking, mountain biking, walking, and general travel. When you go somewhere new, check for maps. Always something useful. This is the best app, no question!!

We travel all over the US and with this app, no matter where we go, I can pull up local hiking trails. When a trail wasnt in their library all I had to do was ask and within a short time it was added in for me to download. I love this app.

Totally love this app! So many maps available. I was looking to get a Garmin GPS for my coming up road camping trip, and thought maybe I should give it a try. And it totally works!! Even better with official campsites and trails marked. Nicely done!

Brilliant use of open community maps

Use it everywhere I travel. Wish there was a way to import your own pdf and attach lat/lon info to it.

Takes the place of park maps and serves as a great reference when planning hikes. Keep up the good work

Looking for trail maps around Sierra Natl Forest. None on there.

This app is great for mountain riding in state parks. I ride alone most of the time and It has prevented me from getting lost many times. Only minor negative...these arent true topos; that would be much better.
